Cheers for your comments,be safe and kind ❤️
My life in a nutshell,😢sometimes hard but also never boring 😊 so fantastic in many ways ❤
😢
I need a recording of this concert stat
Always good to hear Sir Mark Elder talking about music. This is an interesting piece and I must say I only know of a few popular items within this score, so I might be tempted to purchase this. Keep up the good work, LSO.
Stanislas Lefort ❤❤❤❤
This the best conducting I’ve ever seen
We need an interview about the broken reed
I feel incredibly bad for the horn players as a horn player myself because YEESH! those octaves and jumps!
This is chaotic harmony
No tragedy. No Mahler.
Can’t ever hear this tune without seeing the mental image of Darren from Love/Hate collapsing to his death, absolute stunning composition both technically and emotionally
No real.organ with pipes..biggest problem with Barbican
Tx God
18:43 >these surdins 😏
Merci
You know, it makes me wonder if conductors actually know that their actions mean literally nothing other than starting a piece. Like, you rehearse this with your band many times, they all know how it’s supposed to go. Not every conductors style is the same. So, what makes the conductor think by being so animated is getting the result they want?
Uffff that's no good at all 😮 - senza sostenuto? Hello? Why chop notes so short?
Time has proven that Prokofiev is the greatest composer of the twentieth century. Stravinsky and Shostakovich have lost their relevance over time, but Prokofiev and Rachmaninov still sound fresh and new. That's the trick: making music outside the context of time.

Mozart, a gift from God to all of us!!
When the angels praise God in Heaven I am sure they play Bach. However, en famille they play Mozart, and then God the Lord is especially delighted to listen to them. Karl Barth
So good that I almost can't get a handle on it!❤🎉😊
I especially enjoy watching when the conductor is obviously having fun. Beautiful playing and GREAT camera work to highlight the players. Only 10K views in a year?! MARKETING, my man! This performance is too good to allow to be neglected.
So many chills, one after another
5:20 this is my favorite part
Amazing journey you can see it and feel it and imagine all the intricate parts through it. Music has such power!
Just realised, the sound track of Jaws MUST have been inspired by the 2nd movement of this.
L O V E ❤
Really the finest Bassoon solo of all times , simply superb . Bravo
The most crazy moment is when the fifth guy enters
Wow❤
thums if u could imagine a ligthsaber duel .;3
Simply beautiful!
I need him
How come the other pieces are so hard to find from this concert? I remember watching the livestream at the time and the other pieces were fantstic but no where to be found like this lovely piece! LSO help us out!
my favorite ballet its just so freaking cool!!
When I close my eyes, I see a Loony Tunes cartoon, and maybe the first Poltergeist movie
Beautiful 🎉
I gotta know, what scene is this matched up with? I have a hard time thinking of more than one or two moments from the play that would have this kind of atmosphere.
I don't think he was otherworldly always, his music seems very theoretical

Low brass 🔥
There was another ad for fabreeze and another for old spice within the first 5 minutes of this video. i think you didn't intend this and should classify the video another way. i had to unsubscribe and click thumbs down
Thanks for letting us know! We have turned off midroll ads for this video, the music is definetly not meant to be interrupted - do let us know if you spot any others on our channel!
there was a trashy hertz commercial in the middle of this video. jarring
i tried so damn hard to get my conductor to do this song with my high school orchestra and he refused for some reason but this here is proof that he was wrong for sure. If anyone reading this has one Mr. Handman with the Arlington High School Philharmonia, try again to convince him for me, will ya?
I'm on my fifth prestige in the Mesozoic Valley in Cell to Singularity and this beautiful piece of music mocks me as I try to get the achievement medals for 200 of the last four creatures.
Belíssimo! 💕🎻🥰
